Description

Artwork 'King Candy' is one the more colourful paintings by Michiel Nagtegaal. It depicts a more urban / city scene and has several elements that occur on many artworks by Michiel Nagtegaal, such as bird house and Converse sneakers.

The artwork got its name by asking followers of my Instagram account if they got any ideas on the naming of the piece.

It is made with Posca acrylic paint markers and regular acrylic paint on canvas. 

The painting is signed on the back by Michiel Nagtegaal, varnished and ready to hang. It is sold without a frame and will be packed with extreme care. A Certificate of Authenticity can be provided on request.

Dutch artist Michiel Nagtegaal

Artwork 'King Candy' is part of the Archive in this art webshop. This archive contains several less recent paintings, painted by Dutch contemporary urban artist Michiel Nagtegaal. He uses vibrant colors and bold patterns as a visual language of happiness and joy.

He owns a small art gallery in Voorburg and works in a studio space in Leidschendam / Voorburg in The Netherlands (Holland). Besides paintings and art objects Michiel Nagtegaal loves doing a mural on your office wall, shop wall or illustrations on walls in a home. Michiel Nagtegaal is also a freelance UX designer and illustrator.
