Westerpop is the name of a free annual music festival in Delft, The Netherlands. in 2012, 2013 en 2014 I (Designia) designed illustrations for the different crew t-shirts.
The only two restrictions the organisation gave me where that it needed the brand mark incorporated. And the illustration needed to have a 'rock'-concert feel to it, although the program not only incorporated 'rock'-bands.
I took a photograph of a jumping gitarist that radiated extasy and drew over it with a fineliner. Then the illustration was scanned and enhanced in Adobe Photoshop. Some color was added.
Adobe Illustrator was used for the typography.
