Illustration 'Courage' is a commission for Dutch styling and design agency MOED-CSD. The word 'moed' translates in English as 'courage'. The colourful illustration features two (cartoon) characters, placed adjacent and in the composition of a playing card. Because 'doing business is all just a game', right?

The two cartoon characters are human canon balls as a metaphor for courage. Around them are various objects and 'props', which belong to the two characters and describe their character.

The commission started as a printed phone cover.
